Updated Processing Times for Inland OWP/PR

I just spoke with the CIC call centre. The agent informed me that they've updated processing times and are currently working on OWP/PR applications through mid-late December.

My application was received on Oct. 19, 2015, but they don't have any record of it. The agent took down my receipt numbers (for payment of OWP/PR applications) and my Canada Post tracking number. She'll forward these to the CIC.

Have any inland Oct. or Nov. 2015 applicants received updates?

I also have received nothing. I just called the call centre and they told me to call back March 6th, which would be my four months... going to try again to see what another worker tells me. This agent did not say anything about processing apps through mid-late December.

I just called a second time and this agent did the same for me... took all our numbers and forward to the office in Mississauga. She said not to call back for a few weeks. Unfortunately it didn't sound hopeful.

This is insane. I'm utterly disgusted by this system.

I read something of that sort this morning. I asked the agent and she wasn't able to verify it because the CIC hasn't officially announced anything. Losing two months of applications would be absolutely ridiculous. Let's hope that's not the case.

People please calm down, I know it's tough sitting and waiting but with CIC that's the best we can
do or we could go insane. I find it really hard to believe applications were lost, I highly doubt it so keep praying and hope for the best.

I am a December applicant , I did receive AOR but no OWP yet . I also received mail asking me for more information regarding my background schedule which I received last week and sent in next day. I wish all you the best because I do know having to wait for a response and never getting it.

Today I call the CIC center many times,and different agent has the different answers.Someone told me my applition maybe lost,someone ask me to wait,someone said he did not know it anymore,and help me to write a email that is my post receipt number to CIC.They told me they have deal with Dec,2015 applition....
I think CIC have some mistake on Oct and Nov ,2015 applition...
I am on Nov,2015,there is no any answer in the 3 month.... :-[ :-[

My guess is that they somehow got them out of order. I don't know how they could lose 2 months worth of applications. I'd keep calling them until they do something about it or find the applications. I just can't believe that they could lose that many applications... Good luck to everyone who's affected by this.

2. "We sent you correspondence on February 8, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."
