Updated message recieved..? But nothing?

HI guys does anyone know what the reason is behind this? I received a CIC email saying my profile has been updated, so I logged on and everything still the same nothing changed. Background check still in progress and nothing changed. I submitted my app 6th November inland

That's what people refer to as ghost email. Usually considered a positive sign, sometimes followed by PPR email.
