Hi, I applied for outland spousal PR a few months back so my wife could immigrate from New Zealand to Canada and we can be together. When I applied, my wife had a New Zealand Resident visa. However, she recently obtained a PR from New Zealand.

1. Should I update the Canadian spousal PR application with the new documents?
2. Will updating the application cause further delays i.e., will be application be moved out of the queue and re-queued?
3. I also applied for visitor visa for her because spousal PR was taking so long and I miss her. Should I also update the visitor visa application?

Thank you for your help.

There is no need to update the application.

Thanks scylla. If the Govt of Canada decides to check my spouse's national ID document and New Zealand says that it's invalid, won't this delay our application? This is why I wanted to update the national ID document via the webform.

If you're worried then just update it.
