New processing time for PR CEC in 2014 has been updated today ... from 12 to 13 months ...

I have a feeling it's only the beginning of a long delay ... ( summer vacations for CIC officer is coming soon ... )

ohh great :( >:( ::) :'(

I had suspected this was the case and note that if this P80 number is creeping up then then "instantaneous" numbers will be much higher than 13 months (simple statistics).

Makes sense considering the amount of second reviews.

Maybe the poster who suggested a petition to the Immigration Minister needs to get going, this is simply absurd. How can people plan their lives if CIC cannot either advise applicants what the process is, where their applications are at, etc, etc, leave alone a reasonably good estimated time to complete processing. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

For me, almost 16 months already. Still waiting for PPR.

yeah ... I know waiting is painful but we have actually no choice ... just simple reminders for everyone :

the processing time is for aprox 80% of application which has been treated in the past. Maybe for X reason, your application switch to the 20 another % and is delayed ...

Eveyone who has his PR in process, and under some specific rules, can apply for a BOWP.
the bad point of this : we need to pay 255$ everytimes for each person we apply for ...

Nobody knows excatly why August applicant didn't get any M.R for the last 30 days ( except the 13th of may, we could see a couple of request )

Try to take it easy ... I'm in vancouver and the weather is just amazing, we need to enjoy our time, even if we still think about it almost everytime ...

I want to move to Vancouver, any suggestion about good suburbs?
