Thanks it has been a really stressful night yesterday, when I got the news.
So is it okay to use the same photos, screenshots of the chats of the last application?
If they are good bits of evidence, sure. If, however, you look them over again and determine that some may not be as relevant as you had thought, then you can discard them. Keep in mind you're explicitly asked for things like wedding photos, so be sure to keep important things like this.

You can use some of the same evidence especially of when your relationship began, but you need to build on that and show how your relationship developed and got stronger until the time you submit your new application.

Use more, you got refuse with these evidence, use photo that you are with her family, friends etc
You need to show that your relation is genuine and know from others,

Did you add her on your life insurance? etc
Okay.I don’t have life insurance.
Should I open one and add her?

Okay,so it’s a good idea to visit her a few more times and maybe she can visit me,then re-apply again?

That's kind of bare minimum, but yes, that will help. You should also include things like joint bank accounts (if possible), life insurance, and so on. Keep in mind all of this will take time, so don't get discouraged. As me and PB&J have noted, you're going to have to build on what you already have to demonstrate a strong tie between you and your spouse. Doing so will help dispel concerns from IRCC.

Chances are very high that her TRV will get refused so she will need to show strong ties to her country. If it gets rejected, you still can use that to show the intent of visiting but the impossibility due to refusal.

Ok strong ties in what way?
There’s a thread about it here somewhere, you should look for it, but some examples are a job/school to return to, strong family ties, travel history, etc. Another option could be to apply for a TRV and in the rare case it gets approved you could apply inland and she wouldn’t need to return to the DR.

I see.Is it easier to get accepted if she is living with me in Canada with her TRV or is it just as complicated?

It’s the same process but if she’s able to come as a visitor and apply inland she can also apply for a work permit at the time of submitting the PR application

Who can’t become a sponsor
You can’t be a sponsor if you:

  • have failed to pay:
    • an immigration loan
    • a performance bond
    • family support payments
  • have failed to provide for the basic needs of a previously-sponsored relative who received social assistance
  • are under a removal order
  • are in a penitentiary, jail, reformatory or prison
  • receive social assistance for a reason other than a disability
  • are still going through the process of bankruptcy (undischarged bankruptcy)
  • were sponsored by a spouse or partner and you became a permanent resident less than five years ago
  • sponsored a previous spouse or partner and three years have not passed since this person became a permanent resident
  • have already applied to sponsor your current spouse, partner or child and a decision on your application hasn’t been made yet
  • were convicted of a violent or sexual offence, or an offence that caused bodily harm to a relative—or you attempted or threatened to commit any of these offences
People are still refused if they are disability. If receiving disability it can be difficult to support a family and that is the major concern. It is not an automatic refusal like welfare but you are expected to show how you will support your family. Perhaps you and your spouse have savings or family is supporting you financially in addition to disability payments.

Sigh. This whole process is so complicated.I just hope and pray I can recover from this injury and get back to work soon.
