Hi,

I'd like to know if there's a university which has the lowest admission criteria. Im from Pakistan and want to pursue my higher education as a bachelor student in a university in Toronto. Unfortunately my grades are extremely low! 40%! I have good proficiency in English and can easily manage an IELTS score of 7.0. Also the funding does not seem to be of an issue for me. Would like to know from the forum members if there are any chances i could get through an admission somewhere?.

Thanks.

i would suggest u take up some diploma or bachelors degree in the field ur interested in and complete it with good grades and then apply for post grad diploma or masters degree that way u will prove to the visa officer ur really serious about further studies.....dont be hasty plan ur future properly ...just because every tom dick and harry is going to canada doesnt mean u have to go too....but if u go ,go for the right reasons.....if ur not able to get ur grades up then u will face lot of difficulties here in canada and end up getting kicked from college and waste a whole lot of money....so research what field ur interested in and then see if ur good in that field by doing diploma or bachelors in ur home country....

I'm not sure which public university would admit you with those grades.

You can try a for profit university like University Canada West, they admit anyone.

In Canada, basically anything below 50% is a fail. Even if you were to find a university that would admit a failed student, you have almost zero chance of being granted a student visa.

Follow the advice above: pursue further education in your own country, PASS with a decent mark and then apply for a school in Canada.

first of all you would not get admission in public university. Secondly, if you get admission then its very difficult to get visa as in pakistan they dont give visa to a person whose average is low.they prefer masters program student. its difficult in bachelors program and if u took some diploma course then visa chance is 0%. if u get admission in some public university for bachelor program then you would get visa...but i suggest you to do bachelor here in pakistan with 70% marks and then apply for masters program in canada.

HI,
I strongly recommend you to go fro master instead of bachelor. if you got admission in a good public university for bachelor then might be you would got visa but with this low grades you could not get admission in any public university. So brother do bachelor here and then apply for master if you really wanna to get a visa.

Thanks allot for your feedback and your advise. Much appreciated. Sadly i've been living with this stain of having low grades for quite a while. However it does not resemble my achievements in my career in any case. I have applied to malaysia for a bachelors degree in international business. My reason of only wanting to come was because i have allot of relatives living there. Thanks again guys.
