University Student Visa still UNDER PROCESS

Hi ,

I had applied for student visa under University general category visa from VFS Kolkata on 20th June 2013, while CHC Delhi have received my passport and application on 21st June 2013 and from then on its still UNDER PROCESS and now this complete strike starting from this Monday is really scaring me with more than a month with my visa, no call or emails from the embassy, I have my air tickets on 18th August,2013.

Please suggest what should I do.

Try emailing CHC to know the status of your case.

I applied June 24th and emailed them ancouple days ago. They said my application is in que to be processed. It's been almost 6 weeks and there saying some bull that there is no specific date and that they process them in the order they are received. The strike is affecting all of us........ by the way im in Mexico city.

hey,y cant v check wit tem directly ??/ no use to jus sit and wait fr t results...i also have my flight ticket by august 19th,,and i applied by june 20th too,,,ths s sheer bullshit yar,,,havent heard any updates frm dem

Today at around 3:45 pm IST ,I called the CHC Delhi and they said to sent my query by mail ONLY , phone or any person's visit will not be entertained in terms of passport and visa status .
Now except for sending a mail I have no other option and wait.

Which university are you guys going..I am going to Regina for MBA fall 2013..applied my visa today.
scared if I will get a visa stamp
I have done it through a consultant who told me that their visas are ok and they are getting the visa for their students. I dont know how they were confident.

o ma god,even i called vfs today ,jus to check out whether i ve got any updates,,,he asked to send an email as CHC rep told me sterday...,,,dont they entertain direct visit,,? wat els v can do then,,they wont even reply e-mails,,if v send

To Singapore CIC through VFS Dhaka, Bangladesh.
there are also couple of persons who are waiting 100+ days!

People applying after me are getting their visa but not me..... Its frustrating
