hi all,

I also have applied to Windsor for Jan14, just waiting for GIC certi before applying for the visa...
All other things are undercontrol.
And about courses? I have gone thru them n will register courses as soon as i file my visa.
Btw how much fees did u all pay to university? Its quiet confusing.

Hi Darpan,

Course fee is 22,380 plus 1500 (for some insurance and medical). I am not planning to stay in University's facility. looking for somewhere outside near the campus.
You will get the fee details along with your acceptance letter from uni.

Being the student of uWindsor, I can certainly tell you that engineering program of uWindsor is one of the decent program in Canada.

Getting a degree doesn't mean you get a job. For that, you need more skills than just a degree.

So don't get upset before you guys start. Wish you all good luck.

Lastly, if you anyone of you need guidance, pm me..I know some people who are in Meng now and they can guide which courses to select. Choosing the right prof is the key to get good grades.

If you have myuwindsor account, you can register courses and then you will get the total amount there. and you can get the fee receipt from there as well.

you can get the fee receipt before registering the course as well. under financial matters there is an option of email account statement. you can attach that with your application.

hello everyone
currently i am a student at university of windsor in electrical enng..
basically i want to tell you that if anyone is coming here don't think like that you will get the part time job during the study because it is really difficult to find the job here. Yes it is an average university, there is also nothing like that u will get surely get the job after ur studies. It is also true that a lot of students who completed their masters are driving truck now..
Yes there are also some benefits of studying here as u can directly apply for PNP without any requirement of job and u can get PR in 2-3 years.
You can also get tourist visa for US after one term. Yes u can get job related to ur field but it totally depends on ur luck specially for electrical engg students..if u can work hard u have a bright future here..
Rest its upon you, you have to decide..
