Hello guys,
Just one silly question, does the gcms notes reflect the status on the time of request or of the receipt ?
Thank you
Good question. It reflects status at the time of request. For example, if you just received your GCMS notes and the last update was 3 months ago, it means no further update has been made up to the time the notes were generated. Hope this helps.

I think if the PA's IELTS test date is indeed valid, you shouldn't worry too much right? They clearly stated that language test results are valid for 2 years, and you have the official letter issued by IELTS committee, that's the hard proof right there.

I'm not sure about your 2nd situation regarding the Canadian education credential, it appears that you claimed it's post-secondary right? You mind sharing what kind of education credential it is? Is it a 2year,3 year or 4 year degree/diploma issued by a Canadian university or college?

Hi smallcoffee2milk, thanks for your reply..
i have got you point... she completed 2 years POST-BACCALAUREATE in a Canadian University.. What happened was, when we did open our profile there was no option for post-bacc.. only post-sec was the closest option to select Canadian Education.. we did provide all of the documents we could.. the agents/officers should know better that they do not have the option for post-bacc .. what should we do.. do you think that it will be a big issue? also it says that R10 is ok..

very confused...

Ahh I see what you mean right there. I think what's gonna happen is that they will re-calculate the CRS score based on the adjustments of educational credentials and if the score falls below the draw score which grants you ITA, then your application will likely be rejected unfortunately I have to point it out.

Since in your case you also have an ECA for foreign degree that is equivalent to 4 year bachelor other than the 2 year POST-BACCALAUREATE in Canada, are you going after two or more degrees? Personally I don't think the score difference will be that many if you have a 4 year bachelor as backup. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the worst case is that the agent revoked your two or more degrees credential and go for 1 single bachelor degree right?

well, regarding the score i dont think that it will matter because we have got 1032 points as we did got BC PNP nomination.. i am worried that if this post-bacc & post-sec will be a big issue..though in eligibility status they put Recommend Passed..

also another note an agent wrote -

I suggest you send a CSE to clear any impression they might have now. It shouldn't be a problem though since your score is high enough. Simply explain the reason for the difference.

Hi @kirtivsingh or anyone else, I thought 'Eligibility: Passed' was more an indication that an applicant had successfully passed the process. Are you saying that 'Eligibility: Met' is more highly ranked than 'Eligibility: Passed'?

I ask as I mentioned a few posts earlier my GCMS Notes showed that I went from 'Eligibility: Passed' to 'Eligibility: Met'.

Thanks in advance of your reply.

I am not 100% sure on this. But only interpreting my GCMS notes to the best of my capability.
I think CIO updates passed on his initial review before R10 so that file can be processed further. But after R10 is complete it is stated as MET and file is forwarded to CPC.

Let me know if you think its the same way or otherwise.

I have just received my GCMS notes. It says that my file was transferred due to workload distribution, but can anyone tell me which office is:
"Centralized Intake Office". Because it says like this in my notes:
Paper File Transfer History:
File transfer 1: CPC Ottawa
File Transfer 2: Centralized Intake Office (Workload distribution)

Centralized Intake Office is CIO-Sydney in Nova Scotia, which checks for completeness before they forward to Ottawa or local VOs (for paper-based applications). In fact, paper-based applications are addressed to CIO-Sydney first.

Thank you. I believe the processing will be slow for me as offices in Canada are quite busy.

HI,

In my GCMS notes, under Application Assignment in page 2:

Assigned to: DH048xx
Assigned by:DH048xx

both of assigned "by and to" are same person's code. Do you think it was a mistake or fine.
