I finally got my e-mail response back from Singapore. Apparently PPR was sent from CIC Singapore to my wife end of april, but she never received it. Don't they keep track of PPR has arrived to sponsored person or not? Seems like they don't care much!

yeah i know it is worrying right? there is no conformation or news and we just have to wait ....

Pelda, after 4 months in process, just e-mail them a case specific inquiry and they will get back to you regarding your sponsorship via e-mail. It took them about 3 weeks to respond back to me. The good news is that they did e-mail me PPR via e-mail for my wife. This was after I notified them that the PPR through postal mail was never received. Now my wife is sending away passport through IOM in Ho Chi Minh City. It's finally almost over. Best of luck to you and everyone else.

I don't think they can..... they give a day limit and mail it off via regular mail I believe. I don't know how they would track it, and not to sound rude but they aren't going to track everything for everyone.

They should have e-mail notification options and/or more updates on eCas for people though so we know the PPR is coming/expected.

I'm a little worried about the passport/receiving ect because my wife's PPR said "we are now ready to issue your immigration visas" but the eCas doesn't say anything about receiving meds ect and it's always stressful to mail a passport out. We sent it EMS with tracking number and it was seen as received in Singapore on June 7th but I think my wife was kinda confused about the whole mailing return options, she checked courier and put the envelope in ect and paid EMS for a prepaid envelope but I'm still sort of unsure if she did it right as well, I don't know if they use their own courier or will use this envelope ect so I feel your pain about the frustration of the mailing process. Just slightly concerned about your return mailing of the passport!

Omg durianfruit! its almost over for u. i honestly feel like i dont give a f*** about this long process anymore.
this is soo ridiculous, iv been on this site for a while now, i seen alot of ppl going through "SINGAPORE" office and its seems like everyone is getting their PPR first then me. when i read ur post i SWEAR i wanted to smash my laptop into the floor. like i honestly dont know what to do.

SINGAPORE IS A JOKE

KIMBO, I feel for you. I know how frustrated you are and I'm sure it's 10 times more than me. E-MAIL SINGAPORE is my suggestion for you. Hope something good comes soon for you.

Kimbo maybe they did send your wife PPR but somehow got lost like mine. I e-mailed them and also faxed them too.

Yesterday my wife went to IOM in Ho Chi Minh city and sent her passport away to Singapore. IOM said passport to be back within 4 to 6 weeks. So my stressful journey is almost over.

KIMBO have you e-mailed SINGAPORE yet? Keep us updated my friend. I hope this works. Best of luck to you.

I think I know the answer you are going to give me but I will ask anyways. If my Thai husband have a choice of where we want the application processed Singapore or Beijing because we are living in Mongolia. I'm getting the strong impression from all threads that we should avoid Singapore for a variety of reasons. Also, my husband might be the only Thai being processed through Beijing so I think they might 'wake up' a little when they read it!

I say go Beijing, processing time so much quicker.

KIMBO you never did respond back. Have you done what i suggested? Hope everything works out for you.

How is everyone's case being processed through Singapore doing? Share your timelines...

Hi Durianfruit !
I am living in Ho Chi minh city and my visa office is Singapore ,too . You mentioned that your wife's medicals were done on 9-11-2009 ,When looking at the form of my medical examination I know medicals will be valid within 6 months , so I wonder whether your wife's medicals is still used ? Will the visa office ask your wife to redo it ?

Medical is valid for 1 year from date of examination. Visa expires when medical expires too. Good luck to you Hanh.
