I am having trouble linking my PR card application to my CIC account and wondering if someone else had this same issue.

These are the steps I am following :

1. Click on Add you application to your account
2. Select PR Card from the list
3. Select Application Number and UCI under application details

4. Enter application number and UCI number.
In this section, do I enter the UCI in the format that is written on my COPR? ie. XX-XXXX-XXXX or can I not pu the hyphens?

5. Under city/town of birth, I am confuse as well. On my COPR, it says - BATHINDA, PUNJ which means Bathinda city in Punjab state. So, should I just write BATHINDA or put the whole thing as its on my COPR?

6. Then I put in my country of citizenship and the date on which I became the permanent resident

When I click on search, It gives me an error saying my application number does not match the category selected. Is there supposed to be a separate application number for the PR card?

If I select "UCI and Family Name" and then press search, it shows me a blank page and says I have entered incorrect information.

How can I get updates on my PR card? I became a Permanent Resident on Sept 19, 2018.

Thanks!

There's not much that can be innacurate to be honest. I am putting ym family name correctly and UCI number correctly.

The only other text input is the city/town. I am writing it exactly as its written on mu COPR -- BATHINDA, PUNJ.

Maybe the officer hasn't just entered my info. Is there a way to contact them and find out?

call the border whereever you did your landing

I did my landing at the Vancouver airport. And I am not in Canada right now :(
there is no other way.. u have to reach out to them and then call ircc and co-ordinate

This is quiet common and not something to worry about. We had faced the same issue where my wife's application could not be linked no matter what we entered and making sure 100% of it matches with Passport, COPR or some combination of the two (tried various of these). We had no trouble to link mine or my daughter's application.

We even created CSE and inquired with IRCC because we were not able to search for the application. IRCC confirmed that nothing was wrong with our information and everything was in order. Eventually around 60 days from landing, my wife's PR card along with me and my daughter's were delivered even though we were not able to link it in MY CIC. Hopefully, your case is similar to ours and its simply a glitch with the system where something or the other causes the search to not return right information though it exist in the system.

How do I do this? is there a phone number I can call?

Hopefully its just a system glitch.

When you get an error on attempt to link the application, there is a link which opens up form to request information from IRCC. Use the form to create Case Specific Inquiry and ask IRCC about the status of the application. They will not respond back right away and may even take a month to respond but they will eventually respond which in our case was one line reply stating everything is in order with the application and it will be processed within normal processing times.

What is the link where I have to link the PR card to application?
