Track your PR Card using CIC Account

Hi I completed my PR landing on 18th Aug , and I had to travel back to US due to earlier job commitments in the next 3 days. What is the current wait time for new PR card? I have given my friend's address for receiving the PR card. My situation is kind of messy here since my US visa will also expire in 45 days. Is it possible to get my PR card within 20 days or so?

I landed on May 31st and was told to call them back when u have a permanent address since I said I would be in an airbnb until I find my home. However once I called them up to let them know my permanent address, it took like 5 days for me to receive my card. So the 11 days processing time for new cards is correct.

Thank you for the update, but while checking for the processing time for new PR card in CIC website it says for
Permanent Resident cards

New PR card

11 days

Which new PR card does this mention???

After waiting for your first PR card to arrive, you may have to 60-90 days and even after that if that does not arrive, you apply for this card and THEN the waiting time in 11 days.

Not able to link my application even after typing the city/town of birth exactly like on passport including caps, commas, spaces. I landed on Sep 25th still not able to link it today. Also I noticed on my CoPR in the column mentioning place of birth, my city name is followed by a four word abbreviation of my state. Which one to use when linking PR card application, the one on CoPR or the one on the passport? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I landed in Toronto on the 2nd of October. As I was able to link my application online, I can see that nothing's moved yet (still just in Submitted stage).
Don't really have anything to add, but I guess misery loves company

Thanks for the info. I landed on Oct 9th and was worried because I didn’t receive any update. After checking the forum, I realize a lot people before me don’t have updates yet....

Hi, for people who already got their pr card approved, if you call IRCC and go through the options till you get to the point where you hear the status of your apllication, would u please let me know what the status say?? I can’t link my application for unkown reason(tried every trick and suggestions but no luck), so the only way to check the status is by calling and see what the automatic system say when read status...

Can you view the address for PR card after linking with the CIC account?
As my status shows approved but haven't received the card yet.
