Good day! Need your advice please.. my mom sponsored my sisters and I.. however, IRCC Manila (Philippines) wasn’t able to issue our visa due to expired medical (5 days due)
Our timeline as follows:
March 24, 2018 -- CoPR- Confirmation of Permanent Residence sponsor (mom)
April 12, 2018 - sponsor (mom) became a Permanent Resident
***
June 14, 2018 -- received Passport Request (PPR) from Canadian Embassy Manila (CEM)
August 15, 2018 -- submitted our documents for passport request Canadian Embassy Manila (CEM) including the correct photo specifications.
August 17, 2018 --- the Embassy of Canada in Manila received our passport. However upon review, they found out that my daughters’ medical exam results have already expired last August 13, 2018
My mom recently called Case Processing Centre in Edmonton - Canada October 3, 2018. As per conversation, CPC in Edmonton told us that we no longer need re-medical and we should course through our visa processing with VFS Manila (Canada Visa Application Centre – Makati) and IRCC Embassy of Canada, Manila.
Question is, given this advisory, appreciate to advise our next actions:
1. should re-submit our passport for visa processing?
2. how long will it take to issue another PPR request?
3. is it possible that we no longer need to retake medical?
We are feeling hopeless now and at lost.. Thank you so much for your advice!!
