Hi,
I received AOR twice first in Feb & second in March 2022 (For paper based application).
My UCI Starts with T & it is 13 digit number.
Temporary application number starts with XEP & it is 11 digit number.

I am trying to link this to online account but unable to do the same.

Can anybody throw a light here please about two time AOR thing?

I got UCI Starts with T, is it ok two have two UCI's?

Hello friends,

What do you think what's the difference between these 2 UCI's:
  • four numbers, a hyphen, and four more numbers (Example: 0000-0000) or
  • two numbers, a hyphen, four numbers, a hyphen, and four more numbers (Example: 00-0000-0000)
Any ony advise plz and thanks!

Number start with T is temporary number it's means they got your file and issue a number.

After sometimes or months get permanent number that is UCI a number and file number as well that start with alphabet.. This number come with instructions to link your file online... It remain same for whole process...

I did'nt get number with hyphen mine was Continues number..
But i have UCI and File number

8 digit UCI was old standard and applicants who came to Canada before certain year (lets say 2015) were assigned 8 digit UCI numbers. I think with Express Entry coming to picture, the UCI numbers were changed to 10 digit.

The both are valid and exists, just for your information, all new applicants are assigned with 10 digits
