UAE PCC from India

Hello Seniors,

Could you please help me in obtaining a PCC from UAE? I stayed in UAE for about 2 years and have moved back recently. I fail to understand the procedure mentioned on the website. Is there anyone who has done the process who could possibly simplify it for me?

If you want to get it done yourselves then you have to get your fingerprints on a paper and get it signed by the local police station. Then get it attested by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE embassy before sending it.

I got it done through a consultancy because I live far away from New Delhi so it cost me the same.

Hi. Are you sure that getting fingerprints on a paper and getting it signed by Police station, is valid for getting employment visa in UAE. Also, through which consultancy did you get this done?

I believe that you are getting the PCC from India, in order to get the work visa for employment in UAE.
From 4th Feb '18, UAE govt has made it mandatory to get PCC/ Good conduct certificate for employment. Refer below link:

No need to get fingerprints. Go to Dubai police website, start filling the good conduct certificate form online. Give your Emirates id number, upload passport pages as mentioned,upload passport size photo. Pay the fees using a credit/international debit card.
That's all. You get a soft copy and hard copy they will post it to you. The post takes 1.5 months to reach though.

This is assuming that your finger prints were taken for Emirates id application.

Yes I’ve already got PCC from UAE but it’s not for getting UAE work visa.

I didn't upload fingerprints. I was pretty sure as I did it 4 months back. EID has all your finger prints anyway. And yes, I was not in uae when I did the process.

They sent a pdf by email if I remember correctly, after 1-2 days.

Currently I am in India and I PCC issued by Passport Seva Kendra (Passport office) is under process and will be receiving in 2-3 days.

What further process is to be done to get attested from UAE embassy??

Thanks a lot, Anoop. I did what you suggested and have already received my UAE PCC. Additionally, I saved tons of money by not going to a consultant.

If you still have your Emirates ID details getting the PCC is a breeze and you dont have to obtain fingerprints from local police etc and remainder of the process like some sites mention. I got my PCC done in 3 days and emailed to me. Cost equals AED 320 and its recommended to use a GCC based credit for the payment to succeed.
