Dear All,
Good day, I received my PPR last month, hence I am willing to help anyone with regards to any queries related to an application from the UAE I.E:

1. Proof of funds (Affidavit in the UAE)
2. PCC
3. Reference letters
4. Any other requests

Regards,

Congrats on the PPR, what was your PR process timeline, can you share your experience ?

What letter were you asking for from EI? Balance confirmation letter ?

They would normally issue a liability letter. If there are any debts such as credit cards, loans etc along with your bank account at EI, it will be included as well.
If you get the liability letter and the attach your 6 months bank statement to it, you should be OK

I was asking them for letter which includes things like average balance for each month etc.

In my case the liability letter is taking too long. So i am only submitting 6 months bank statements and balance certificate.

How much time are they telling you for the letter ??

Make sure your bank statements are signed, stamped and issued on the EI letter head(when you upload them ensure you are uploading the coloured scan)

2 weeks.

The balance certificate is on letterhead the statements are on plain paper but they do have stamps in blue color.
Good enough?

2 weeks is not bad, EmiratesNBD told me 1 month lol, but they called me me within the week and provided the letter. Can you wait for your letter to be issued ?

Can EI provide you the statament on there letter head? Plain paper with a lone stamp may face some scrutiny (I am not saying it is always the case but you never know)

How long did it take for the overall process til you got the PPR? Also. Was it through express entry?

I am already running late. Without liability letter is it okay?

Just updated my statement above plz check...
I would still suggest you to submit the application along with the document.
First stage of the application review is the R10.. document completeness, if they do find the documents in line to what they have requested, the application is refused.
That’s why I was suggesting to submit it with the bank issued letter and statements

Hi thanks for reply, just had like a 10 minute detailed call with the bank's call centre.

1. They don't provide statements on the letterhead, only on plain paper with stamps.
2. Liability letter is a hassle and will take 15 days.
3. They won't even provide me stamped credit card statements

- OK
- OK, if you have don’t have time to wait then proceed with the document you have and once you receive the letter upload it via a CSE/webform
- you don’t need credit card statement

Have you come across any cases where an application was rejected due to lack of disclosure of liabilities?
