He holds an Indian passport and just got Canadian P.R. He booked tickets for his initial entry to Canada but this itenerary have a transit at Washington U.S

- Is U.S visa mandatory for this journey?
- He have a tight timeline to follow and need to land Canada by February. If we go for U.S visa, which visa type have a better chance of quick processing? Is it C1 (transit visa) or B1/B2(Buisness visa). I understood that both have same expense but which will be processed fast?
- Is there any other solution for this situation? Cancelling that ticket and re-booking will be our only option if U.S visa takes time.
