TYPES OF ILLNESS FOR MEDICAL

Hi

I'm currently being successfully treated for depression with antidepressants. The depression has never affected my everyday work or required me to be hospitalised. Will this affect my chances of passing the medical?

I know a specific medical examiner must do the testing but would it help to have my own GP provide a letter outlining what I've mentioned above to demonstrate I would not be a drain on the system?
