Types of applicants and priority (processing time)

Experienced users, please correct me if I'm wrong.
From the timelines that I have seen in the past, the speed at which applications go from AOR to PPR depends on the type of applicant.. From fastest (highest priority), to lowest:
PNP Inland
CEC Inland
PNP Outland
CEC Outland
FSW Inland
FSW Outland
This is based on empirical observation, so I might be mistaken...
I'm an FSW outland, so I hope i'm mistaken

I don't think it's so clear. Many applications contain partners and children, and of course those take longer to sift through. The great majority of invitations extended so far were for people with LMIA, and most of those are inland, of course. There were also slightly more CEC invitations than FSW, which could give the impression that inland and CEC applications move faster than others.

I really think the amount of time applications take are based on the complexity of the application, the quality of supporting documents, and the expertise and speed of the VO. We'll all get there in time.

Disagree. Based on current trends I totally believe that CEC applications are processed the fastest. In previous years CEC applications had a shorter processing time frame than FSW applications so it only makes sense that they would also be processed the fastest under EE.

Feel the need to bring this up again. FSW outland can be quite fast too, some AOR-Jan-2016 people got through already. I think it also depends on whether you apply as a single applicant or with partners and children.

FSW/Outland. Applied with spouse and child. AOR to PPR was just under 5 months.

It appears as though the rate of PNP Outland processing has slowed down? Or is it still faster than others?

Yeah, somehow PNP's are not getting enough love... during the first 6 months of 2015, PNP's were breezing through much faster! Strange!

Yup, the current timeline suggests that 80% of applicants will get PPR within 4-5 months.... 10% within the first 2 months, and 10% will have to wait 6+ months....
