Sumit if you have IELTS Band 9 score then you would get an additional 25 points as well.

So totally you would receive 32 points.

Hi guys...
Got my PPR a couple of days ago and I had vowed to help-out everyone here with the same gruelling dilemma that I faced while making my profile for EE regarding the qualification related points , so here I am

I have a masters degree from Delhi, India which was evaluated as "one year of graduate study" by WES while my bachelors degree was evaluated as Bachelors Degree (4years).

I choose "Two and more degrees" option in qualification section as it was listed that, study towards a masters degree will be counted (CIC website)....we had a lot of arguments and discussions here on the forum but I felt convinced and went ahead with it, like I said previously that I have received my PPR and my passports have been submitted for the VISA.

Now, my understanding is that if you have a MASTERS degree which has been evaluated as 'one year or two year of graduate study' you can claim points for two or more degrees but not masters....hope this helps, I'll be glad to help out anyone through this in whichever way I can so plz feel free to contact me.....wishing you all a happy future

I have done 4 years [B.E] and 2 years PGDM from Mumbai. WES evaluted it as masters for PGDM. I went ahead and made my profile as with Masters degree option. I think I was right. Thoughts ?

Hi Stanlee,

Thanks for the response. :) I shall listen to your advice and select the “Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.." option then! ;D

Yes, you can select ''two or more degrees...."

Check the below extract from EE FAQs

How do I answer the question in Express Entry about my education if I have two or more degrees or diplomas?
To get the correct number of points, make sure you choose the answer that best reflects your case.

For example: For each entry, if you have two Bachelor degrees, or one Bachelor and a two-year college diploma, choose “Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.”

Can you please let us know the exact Canadian Summary mentioned in your WES report. Once we read that, we can let you know if it was the right option :)

I know you have mentioned masters but want to be doubly sure before confirming.

Yes, Symbiosis International University (SIU) was recognized by WES. However, if you are doing a distance learning, your final diploma / degree may not be from SIU and hence you may not get a successful evaluation.

Please do check what the degree / diploma will say upon completion.

Lastly, I have not received my PR to date but my AoR is 14th March so hoping for the best soon.

Hello every one,

I have done evaluation for my masters only which is equivalent to Canadian masters, some people say that bachelors ECA is also required is it true ? please comment

Hi guys, I would like to ask you about a detail that makes me worried while reading threads about WES report on this forum.
The Canadian Equivalency Summary of my WES report issued on August 2015 shows : Bachelor Degree (4 years). However, the credentials detailed below in the report are respectively : Bachelor Degree of 4 years, One year of graduate study at a non recognised institution and Bachelor Degree of 3 years.
Therefore, I opted for "two or more diplomas, certificate....etc" on my EE profile.
Then, I have submitted my PR Application and the above report. AOR JAN 08.
Nevertheless, lately I was reading threads about WES reports on the forum and I got worried about the mention of the Canadian Equvalency Summary as on my report it doesn't marks my two bachelor's degree but only the one of 4 years. Some people said that we can claim two degrees only if it is clearly written on the Canadian equivalency summary at the top of the report.
So I have sent days ago a query to WES asking them to clarify this situation (if I hold the equivalent of two Canadian bachelor's and why they have written only one of 4 years on the summary). They sent me today a new revised report with the mention of the two bachelor's at the equivalency summary line and told me that the paper version will be forwarded today.
So, I don't know if I shall raise a CSE to CIC to let them know about this fact or logically CIC sould have noticed it and it is clear that I hold two degree though the summary of the report doesn't show it. Otherwise I am stressed of being rejected due to this detail and in the same time I don't want to raise a CSE that might result on delaying my application more and more.
What do you think ?

By now, most of your checks have already been done.
Did you order GCMS notes? You should have definitely ordered to see the comments on your ECA.
In my opinion, you should also raise CSE immediately & order GCMS in parallel

I have already ordered a GCMS Notes, still waiting for it. I found many comments and informations in this thread and I think I am ok even with the previous report.
