Until it comes on his WES report it wouldn't make sense for him to update his EE profile.

I also got my WES report for my Diploma (3 years) and Degree (Engineering) and with the same result as stated by you in your post below. I am also in same confusion as your in. After going through the various posts and experts opinion, I am assuming that we have to select our qualification as Bachelors Degree only.

What is the option your going to select. Do you agree with me or disagree ?

I requested to WES for re evaluation and they sent me a new report in which the summary is mentioned as Secondary School Diploma and Diploma 2 Years and Bachelors Degree 4 Years. So i have selected two or more diploma or degree option. You can choose which one you think suits your qualification. If u have same as mine then IMO you can choose two or more diploma and degree option.

I thought you said you spoke to some immigration consultants and they said you could choose that option... still not satisfied,i guess. But i believe you can choose it since the Bachelor's degree is a programme of four years duration, which is more than the required three. luckily, your summary mentions more than one credential so you ca definately choose it. plus when they said one programme must be of a three-year duration, i believe they meant the Canadian equivalence rather than whatever country you did the programme's.

My frnd got the ECA amended in just 6 days.

Now it says Bachelors Degree (Four years) plus post graduate diploma (one year). Now he can select "Two or more degress......." without thinking twice

I have been reading the topic since 1 hour and each time I think I had understood the stuff, I found a new different explanation. So let's make it clear :
- We are talking about cases where the credential does not mention clearly Master Degree or PhD.
- We are discussing if a bachelor degree PLUS one or more credential recognised by WES as "AT LEAST one year of graduate studies" (whichever they are : bachelor, post graduate, undergraduate...etc) could allow the candidate to choose the option of two or more........on CIC EE Aplication.
So, I think the confusion comes from the fact that the WES Summarise comment on the top of report doesn't mention, sometimes, all the degree but only the highest one, and in other cases it mentions all the degrees. I think the question is why WES does this ? Why they do mention for example "Bachelor Degree (4 years) And Post graduate degree (1 year) and for another candidate holding two bachelor for example (3 and 4 years for example) it mentions only "Bachelor's Degree 4 years".
Finally, I think it is up to the agent to consider that at the end.

Yes, you have understood it correctly. WES has its own assessment criteria.

and now I sent inquiry to WES on 16th May 2016 and got response with-in 4 days with my revised report as

Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (four years)
Revised ECA Report (original completed on April 27, 2015)


I am going to update my EE profile and will select two or more certificate now, hoping my Education point increased from 112 --> 119

Sumit if you have IELTS Band 9 score then you would get an additional 25 points as well.

So totally you would receive 32 points.
