TRV within Canada

Hi guys,
I am on valid post graduation work permit. I have to apply for TRV within Canada as it was expired last year. When I try to fill up the questionnaire it asked me to filled the IMM5257E (TRVapplication from outside). Is it right or not as I am applying within Canada?
I will really appreciate if anyone can provide some guidance.

I was wondering how long does it take to get our passport back after visa stamp.
My mail was delivered at Ottawa on Sept 22,2017 but did not get any response s far!
