TRV With Spousal Sponsorship

Hi,

I have just applied for my wife's sponsorship to Canada. She is a Pakistani citizen living in Pakistan as of now. Her application is in the process. In the meantime I want to apply for her Visitor Visa to Pakistan. My question is:

1) If she comes to Canada on a visitor visa and while she is here in Canada her application for sponsorship gets approved, does she have to go back to Pakistan to have the PR visa pasted on her passport or can she notify the CIC office in Canada to send the visa to Canada instead of Pakistan?

Hi

She can send her passport to Ottawa if she is in Canada. However, with a PR app in process, you should know there is little chance of a TRV being approved.
