TRV - Visitor visa Passport Stamping Timeline India 2025

Hello Everyone,

i have submitted my passport on april 11th and it reached ircc new delhi on april 15th, after that no update. Is anyone have same timeline, pls share if they have received any update

Hello, I have applied for the TRV visa to work without a permit. My visa got approved.. I submitted my passport today (16th April) at VAC Chandigarh and got a message stating that my passport is in transit and has been dispatched to the IRCC Office through the Canada Visa Application Centre, Chandigarh Office, on Wednesday, Apr 16, 2025, for processing. I am going for an internship in May and must start by the second week of May. In my application, I mentioned my departure date as 8th May. I still haven't bought flight tickets yet. According to the recent timeline, could anyone suggest which date would be safer for me to buy the flight ticket?

I sent an email to Canadian embassy along with my flight tickets but I'm not sure if that made any difference. Email - delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca

I collected my stamped passport today. Submitted on 15th April, Reached IRCC on 16th. Got the dispatch message yesterday.

Passport sent to IRCC Delhi: May 6th
Passport reached IRCC Delhi: May 8th
Booked Ticket already for June 11th

Does anybody have an idea, if we will get the passport before our flight? or it's gonna take longer?

Does anybody have an idea, if we will get the passport before our flight? or it's gonna take longer?

No guarantee you will receive your passport given current processing time. Given current processing times your are unlikely to receive the passport but processing times can change and sometimes one passport seems to be processed faster out of mainly pure luck. I would say suggest rescheduling your flight if possible. It is never a good idea to book a flight until you have your stamped passport. Believe IRCC recommends this.

Just looked at previous posts. The fact that you withdrew sponsorship and then changed your mind also may impact TRV and perhaps processing of TRV even if you
I manage to get sponsorship reinstated. Have you received a response about
your attempt to stop the withdrawal of the sponsorship other than the automated response?
