TRV Visitor Visa for Spouse after applying for PR (Outland)

Hi,

I recently applied for my spouse's PR and waiting for AOR. As per the news, seems like now it will be easier to get a visitor visa for my spouse within 30 days.

If you've applied for and received a TRV after applying for your spouse's PR, please share your experience and any documents that you included.

I have two main questions:

1. She doesn't have a job, how can I show that she can afford to come to Canada to visit?
2. She doesn't own property either, how can you show ties? Are the immigrant officers strict even though the minister has promised visitor visas

Anything you can share would be great as I really want to meet my spouse while her PR is being processed.

In short:
1. you are the sponsor. You can show that you will support her.
2. depends on how good is your PR application.

Minister promised nothing, he just made it easier in certain circumstances to obtain TRV. Please, read the links above. There is a lot of useful information including what has been submitted as supporting documentation.
