Maybe you can request your MP's office to check the reason for the delay. Hopefully your MP will have some information by next week
I did visit them last week dear. We visited them yesterday also they said u shud gv at least 10 business days to us to call u back.

I said am tired of hearing this 10 business days sentence and moved from there.

I have a strong feeling this delay is because of background checks for your dad.

As your mom and dad applied together (your dad as the principal applicant), the visa office may not take a decision until they receive an 'all clear' report for your dad.

Do you have an aunt or a cousin or someone else whom you can apply for in the meanwhile? That way you will have someone when you need help

Do share more information, especially for:
1. How long did they want to visit? Purpose of their visit?

2. What ties can they show to their home country: Employment/business + family + financial situation + previous travel history, etc

3. Were they refused for any other reason?
-----

the reasonn stated is :-

YOU HAVE FAILED TO DISCLOSE THAT YOU WERE PREVIOUSLY REFUSED A VISA FOR CANADA AND/OR ANOTHER COUNTRY THIS HAS DIMINISHED THE OVERALL CREDIBILITY OF YOUR APPLICATION.YOU HAVE NOT DEMONSTRATED THE SUFFICIENTLY STRONG TIES TO YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE.

1. How long did they want to visit? Purpose of their visit?

->I have invited them for my Daughter's 5th birthday celebration and to visit famous places in the invitation letter
-> However, In the Invitation Letter we mentioned that they will go before visa expires before 6 months
-> We are on PR Visa ( me , my wife and daughter and since 1 year we are in canada
-> both are working fine and submitted T4 and submitted NOA for my wife too,
-> my NOA was not sent as i have not had it that time.
-> Funds in Canada we showed is $22000

2. What ties can they show to their home country: Employment/business + family + financial situation + previous travel history, etc

-> they own two homes [ 1 on dad's name[currently living] + 1 on my mom's Name ]
-> mom's home is given on rent. [ they receive rental income every month ]
-> my brother and his family[wife+kids] also lives with my parents
-> dad is self employed and mom is homemaker [housewife]
->no travel history at all [ refusal for UK and US ]

3. Do post the list of documents which they had submitted as it will be easier to advise

bank statements from home country [all amount is converted in CAD $ ]
-> Chartered accountant's reports for finance showing liquid movable funds i [$55650] and immovable assets [$106000]
-> House Valuation reports for both homes as immovable assets
-> affidavit of marriage certificate for my mom and dad
-> education docs for parents
->passports old +new for both of them

Hey Anwer, this is truly fantastic. I'm happy for you. Congrats :):)

You waited extremely patiently. Not many people have the kind of patience and positive spirit that you have.

Hope your TRV is valid until your passport expiry

Here are my suggestions.....

First, do keep their visit to only 3-4 weeks max. By stating that they will be here for up to 6 months means they have weak ties to their home country.

For your dad's employment (whichever is possible):
Business registration documents + 6 months' company bank statements + 2 years Income Tax Returns + an explanation that he can use company finances for a personal holiday + tax returns + audit statement/Profit-Loss statement/Balance sheet for the previous financial year + a projected income-expenditure statement for the next 3 months + a rent agreement for office space (if available) + 2-3 months rent receipts + company profile/website page prints + 3-4 recent Purchase Orders/works contracts + an explanation who will manage his business temporarily in his absence

For their properties:
A CA's valuation will not work on it's own.

Your parents must submit property ownership documents + recent property tax receipts + the CA valuation report + any published realty reports or indicative market rates from a property portal to back the market rates quoted by the CA

For your mom's property: A copy of the rent agreement + 3-4 months rent receipts + bank statements highlighting the rent payments received

For their visit:
6 months' personal bank statements (nothing borrowed, should match their income) + financial investments (FDs, RDs, mutual funds, shares, jewelry as investment by a certified jeweler, etc) + 2 years Income Tax Returns

An invitation for a birthday normally does not work. Your parents must prepare a day-by-day itinerary for sightseeing, spending time with you/your family, activities, etc.... with expense estimates..... and prove they can afford this visit + airfare (without depending on you).

Proofs that your brother and his family live at the same address as your parents. However, as he is an adult and married, he is not really a family tie. If your brother and his wife are employed full-time then you may want to include an explanation that your parents must return to take care of his children + it is possible for them to visit Canada now as the children have summer holidays.

Your parents' education documents are not required. It can incorrectly imply that they are coming to seek employment.

Also, do include any other evidence:
1. If your parents are part of a charity or volunteer organization + there is a scheduled event to which they must return
2. Any other must-return-by-a-specific-date reasons with evidence
3. Copies of an overseas travel medical insurance policy (refundable, allows for date change)

You must submit your passport for the TRV stamping within 30 days (not 40 days like you've mentioned in the Pakistan thread)

Hello Bryanna..
Thanks again for your nice reply...

However , My Dad is doing a business sort of self employed , [ priest work + Astrology work + religious work ]
  • with his letter head and business visiting cards
  • appointment book for personal clients
  • And bill books for Bill payment proofs [ payment received ]
  • Generally having cash transactions
  • RUNS OFFICE work from home address[ client visits home only ]
  • has own Income Tax returns for last two years [ 2015 -2016 and 2016 -2017 ]
He does not have any registered
  • company office address or
  • big documents like AUDIT STATEMENTS / BALANCE SHEET / RENTAL OFFICE AGREEMENT
Also , We have ownership docs and tax receipts of both home property in own language ,not in english [ will that work ?? ]

For my mom's property , we will be able to show everything , [ Is rental agreement has to be in English ??? ]

  • We have got rental agreement in own language
what is main SUPP document we should submit to overcome that rejection/refusal reason [UK+USA] of PREVIOUS VISA ??
  • SHOULD WE EXPLAIN THAT IN COVER LETTER OR we do not need highlight, just simply reapply ?
We will submit rest as you mentioned below as;
  • visit itinerary details
  • Country-family bonding for own country of residence
  • finance supportivedetails
Should we show canada docs ;-

  • T4 + NOA [ ME andmy wife ]
  • job letters
  • Bank statements and savings
  • rent agreeent
Please reply and help is appreciated .....

Dear Bryanna

Please I need your urgent help and advice because many people are being denied with visa to Canada when they have all documents to proof to the visa officer but still get denied. I am very much confuse as to what documents to submit to the visa officer to know that my visit to Canada is temporary and I shall surely come back to Switzerland for studies.
My case is, I will like to apply for a tourist visa to Canada this coming holidays and I will be applying my visa on the 5th of June and my tentative date for the visit to Canada is 18th July 2017. My currently resident is Switzerland and I am here purposely for studies. I studying my masters here in Switzerland and also worked part time as well. I have no relations in Canada, friends, family, or relatives. just want to visit Canada for my summer holidays and I want to spend just two weeks in Canada.
Can you please advice me what kinds of documents I need to submit for the visa application and how much money do you think I should have in my personal account in order to secure a visa to Canada for tourist.

THANK YOU AND KIND REGARDS
