So you have written authorization to travel? Don’t know your home country, but processing will take a few months. Have you done biometrics?
yes, I did biometric, it was required and I have an authorization letter it is valid for 6 months and starting date was Jan 17th.2021

Thanks,
I did attach a letter of employment that indicates I am working for them for 1.5 years and my position and my annual salary, and for my asset just attached my saving account w, which was 15K in CAD and my chequing had a balance of 100k in CAD, is it sufficient?
I have heard that it is better to wait for 6 months or more for re-applying, or it is not really necessary if I have explanations for the VO concerns?
Also, regarding my engagement, do they accept a letter of supporting engagement and relationship from my fiance and my in-laws, my friends, and even my grandmother? is it an acceptable document?
Thanks

First of all, Attaching a saving account statement isn't sufficient. You need to get a Net Wealth Report by a Chartered Accountant. It will put more weigh on your funds. Remember that the statement should be duly attested by the bank branch officials.

If you have properties on your name, you need to get them valued by the approved valuator and submit it to CA for Net Wealth report as he/she will mention them in your report. If the property document is other than English then get it translated and notarized.

Secondly, did you attach a leave sanction letter? If not then try to attach this time. It will improve your employement ties with your home country.

Thirdly, There is no specific time mentioned anywhere for reapplying. If you think you can address those concerns raised by VO, then go ahead and reapply without any wait.

Regarding your engagement, you can attach the letter along with the pictures of event and venue confirmation where it was held. It will sufficient enough to prove your relationship.

I hope it helps.

My husband applied for TRV and it was approved at first but they said his biometric had expired since he had a previous PR application that was refused.
After doing another biometric we thought they would return his passport back stamped but instead they requested for more chats, photos of us and finances.
We still haven't gotten the passport back. Is it possible that because we did a new biometric they reviewed the application again....I am losing my mind here. Has anyone encountered this before

I don't want to predict here anything but i guess maybe because he had a PR application in the system already and his intentions were to move there permanently eventually, The VO might want to check the genuineness of the relationship before granting a TRV because it is temporary in nature. The VO might have concerns of dual intentions(permanent residency). It is not related to biometrics.

Stay positive!

Good Luck!

but it was already approved... can they do that? can they just decide to reject it after an approval has been granted earlier?

It could have been just a mistake or a glitch. Did you get any approval letter ? I doubt!

Of course you it was. We saw approved abs then a passport request letter dated same day and also a biometric correspondence letter as well

They can reverse it just in case they come up with some adverse information after the approval.

Stay Positive!!
