TRV REFUSED - PURPOSE OF TRAVEL & FAMILY TIE- REAPPLICATION INQUIRY

My name is Beatrice I urgently require your assistance on behalf of my Fiance's TRV Application (Paper Based ).

My Fiance got his final decision and and was denied basis the below

• Family ties n Canada and in your country of residence.
• Purpose of Visit

A Brief summary
My Fiance works and lives in Lagos Nigeria. He has about several property development investments in Nigeria spanning over 12 - 25years (We attached this during application).

His Sister and her kids are based in Canada as his sister is a citizen with canadian passport while his Mother has been in canada for almost 3years awaiting her PR (She filed for PR and have been given a work permit pending when the PR is confirmed).

He added their details to his Family Info while filling the forms so we are a bit puzzled as to why they refuse basis Family ties in home country and canada (When we have proven that he has both- Though we never mentioned he would visit his family in canada ). Also His Elderly Father is based in Nigeria .

Ps : We also attached a detailed cover letter and itinerary showing breakdown of his stay- Tourism purposes (Yet he was denied basis purpose of visit).

We are engaged to be married November 2018 in our country. Please advise me of the next step as he wants to re-apply again as soon as possible.

Yes a detailed cover letter advising he will be in canada for 10days for tourism purposes and listed out the itinerary he will carry out once in canada. Also booked tour reservations and showed proof as well. (His application was paper based).

In the detailed letter did he mention you as his wife and his elderly father who are his strong family ties to home country.

As stated earlier, his elderly father should be dependent on someone. Maybe him, If he had stated that maybe his elderly father is dependent on him on financial support and can't abandon him because he directly or indirectly takes care of him. That he's just leaving him just for 10days with sufficient funds enough to take care of him till he is back under the protection of xxxxx... That he's just going to see his mom or the purpose of visit. That he can't abandon you(his family) and father because xxxxx...

I'm guessing you understand what I mean.

Assuming this was in his cover letter then it should maybe been a different case

My purpose of visit is strictly basis Tourism purposes and to Visit my Elderly Mother and Sibling in Canada during my 10 days stay ( September 2019) I also have a detailed tour reservation with Tour guys Guide & Toronto City Pass for the duration of my stay.

Please note that I don’t have any intention to settle in Canada and will definitely return to my home country at the end of my trip. It's a good one but I urge you to edit the part you wrote " I confirm that I meet the requirement for a Temporary Residence Visa approval and will appreciate it if my request is granted.
That's a red flag... nobody is entitled to a Visa. It's the discretion of the VO to issue He/S a visa.

His Sister is a citizen with Canadian passport (Her Dad is a Citizen who filed for her over 25years ago and she has been in Canada since then) while his sister filed for his Mother through H & C (not sure why that route -she was advised that it'll be faster). His mum has been in Canada for over 2 years and has been granted a work permit pending when her PR is granted

You should also have access to a laptop or desktop computer, scanner also with Adobe reader in it if you choose to apply online

His mum has been in canada for over 2 years and has been granted a work permit pending when her PR is granted

One of the reasons it could be as well, is that it sounds like his mother was granted a visa, then a H & C application was filed while she was here, so she would not have to go back, versus applying thru the P&G pool which has no guarantee, and takes much longer This would have circumvented the route the Government wants people to take to have their parents live here, would not know definitively unless you applied for the notes on the file
However this could effect his application, because the VO could possibly assume, he would do the same thing
The VO looks at everything on a application and weighs the risks on whether a person will go back, By circumventing the rules, the scales could possibly of been tipped
