So if someone doesn't have travel history ( and it does play a big part especially when applying for US/Canada ) - it just shows them tat you are reliable enough to go and come back to home country. So if someone doesn't have any or much then your raise the bar on the other aspects like financial and present stability that her visit is only to meet you and she will return back
Frankly, spouse application is one of the riskiest ( in terms of immigration ) where there is a very high possibility that he/she will stayover but they don't always say that in the refusal

user828, I agree with your comments. Its very natural. 90% of spouses do come to stay with their partners and visa officers know this thing but its impossible to stop and it will remain forever in the line.
Can you please put some light on my situation. Like for travel history, nothing be done unless someone do travel a lot.
But how should I cover the other 2 point i.e., Family ties in Canada and Country of residence and Personal assets and financial status.
