TRV online application for Singapore Visa Office

just an update of my case.

I went to the consulate this morning and they told me it has been finalized. I left my passport with them and I can pick it up tomorrow.

The mystery of why there was no formal email/communication to us that it was finalized still exist. But my advice is.. if you need your visa urgently, just go down to the Consulate. I have to first warn you that security in the building AND at the Consulate is a pain!

yah! how come no email notification about this???
so what do i do now, im in overseas i can't just go to SG to check on the status,
sent them case specific enquiries twice too still no answer.

well i hope this week got the PPR...

i sent them emails twice too and no reply. That's why i finally went down. Maybe you can authorize your friends to do that for you?

In the email, do specify which date you need the visa by. I specified 24 July and they are approving mine on 23 July.

Did u sent them specific case enquiry?
i think i got to send them again.
in your case u submitted on June 22 and get it by July 22 which is by today,
means they took 30 days to process on it. Never a 14 days in what they mention on website.

my friend need to travel on August 8, then should her tell them she need the visa on August 8, or can be earlier?
(she needs to buy air ticket only when after she gets the visa)

one more thing Wallgazer.....when u go down to the SG Visa office and u've been told yr visa has been finalized,
did your CIC online account showing PPR status, or there's still nothing?
how about now?

if there's no PPR message in CIC, means we might get our visa finalized already, but they didn't send us notification.

i think i better authorize a friend to help to go ask them in person.

What time did you submit your passport? I thought you can collect your visa within the same day?

Been waiting for weeks now and might just ask a friend to enquire. Just worried about the authorization stuff.

I don't see any messages in CIC. It's strange isn't it?

I submitted my passport in the morning, about 815am. And the person said to be collected tmrw. I guess I was too happy to request to get in on the same day.

something's wrong.....

i myself, my application is on May 26 and it took 3 days to receive PPR. This is weird now.

I will ask someone to go SGVO in person to ask them...

U applied on July 4th right, my friend's one on June 30, earlier than you and she hasnt got ppr....
the processing times seems to vary from time to time...

Just got back from collecting visa.. within the same day, drop in pp in the morning then collect in the afternoon.
