The 14 day mark has come and gone for me. Do you guys think I should ask someone to collect the decision? Can he/she go on a Friday?

Got my PPR a few minutes ago....

Timeframe:

Online submission: June 30
Passport request: July 26
Passport submission: July 30
Travel time: August 11

Hi Kais, got your message, when did u submit your application? If still no reply you can try sending case specific enquiry....sorry that i can't help because it's not me who going to SG, it's a friend of mine who i helped to apply for Visa, bcoz i'm overseas now...

Early July, by paper. I've dropped them several case specific enquiries but hey haven't replied ANY of them!

Hmm, delay expected, my mom applied by paper too and she got hers in 14 days, but that's before the STRIKE happened.
If this case, if u need it urgently i strongly suggest you go to SGVO in person, bring your passport and enquire the status of application, another option is authorize your friend/relative in SG to obtain your application information in SGVO.

If you need representative, u need to fill up some form....

Thanks for the suggestion. Can my representative go on Monday? They mentioned visa stuff are only handled Tuesdays to Thursdays

Yah, its opened Tuesday, Wednesday&Thursday.

Or maybe before that you will get your ppr

Remember to fill up Representative form and sign it, or else they won't release any info of your status to 3rd party...

Paper application sent: 9 Jul (registered mail from Kuala Lumpur)
Received by the SGVO: 10 Jul
Passport request: 26 Jul

It should be noted that I sent quite a few emails begging for an answer
