Hi everyone,

I applied for TRV (tourism) and they refused my TRV.

I sumbitted -
All applicable application forms,
Employment letter,
Salary slips of last 6 months,
Bank statement of last 6 months
Self explanatory letter of assets in back home and country of residence.
Hotel accommodation/reservation
I have submitted evidence that my kids school registration

They gave me 3 reasons and my criteria is in bracket.
1. Your travel history (we have been Saudi Arabia, india.)

2. Purpose of visit (Tourism) what else ?

3. Ties in in Canada/country of residence (I work for an Oil company - permanent direct hire for last 15 yrs, working in middle east since 2000).

So what was wrong with my application ? I really want to know.

If VO refuse visa then there must be some reason, or we fail to show them that we got enough ties with home country like family/property and Job/business which wil make us leave Canada , got financial support during stay. And from 200+ country in world why you choose Canada.
I don't wanna be picky but if you think as a visa officer , just on based of evidence you file in support to your application then you will realise what else was needed.

I got few of my relative and friends visit to us in last 3 year. And few of relative/friend got there visa refuse.
And all who got visa were genuine visitor, students etc. and one those got refuse were student /friends/ relative who just wanna come here on visit visa or student/business visa and to find way to get temp resident here.

So I say best is sit with all paper work and think like visa officer that what else you can provide him to support your application. If you need then get your CAIPS note / GCMS notes. Those can be done very cheaply if you know someone in Canada or get through one of several website like caipsnote.com.

Based on your list of documents in the other thread, your husband has not submitted any documents this time to show his financial situation.

Employment = earnings = ability to prove one is paid a salary = an employment tie

If your husband cannot prove he is paid a salary then his employment documents will not convince the visa officer that he is really employed. This is the reason why I had suggested, in September, that he must request his employer for bank transfers/cheques for his salary.

He must also submit 6 months salary slips + 6 months bank statements + 2 years ITRs + evidence of any financial investments (if possible)

Also, is the lease agreement on his name? Since when? Can he prove he pays/has been paying the rent since the last few months?

1. Employment, salary transferred to account directly from last few months, for the previous salary paid in Cash, got an attested letter from employer stating that it was paid in cash.
2. Lease Agreement since March 2014 on him name, and rent receipts too.
3. Vehicle purchase papers, and driving license on his name.
We just have a genuine desire to visit not to overstay as any how I will apply for the PR later.
NVM I am not thinking to reapply.

Thanks!

I applied only once and I think they are not i interested to give TRVs. Why should I waste my time and money for rejections. I have submitted most of the documents for ties in back home and UAE. Even I have submitted my recently renewed my house contract as well.
We will go to US and will enjoy our holidays for 15 - 20 days. We are working in UAE and have good job and my lovely 4x4 to travel. Instead of wasting our money, we can spend the same for outing and all.
Be happy. Theworld is very big and many places to enjoy.

One suggestion for CIC... if they are really interested to give TRVs. They have to do interviews like US. If any thing can be clear at the same time will be better. So people can not loose their money/energy because of small small things.
cic official can ask questions if he is in doubt.
