Timeline:
03 May, 2020 : Applied TRV (inside canada with biometric already done last year)
16 July, 2020 : Received Correspondence Letter (Biometric is valid)
11 August 2020 : Approved (Passport Request)

Hi everyone ! This forum has helped me a lot and I want to share with you some updates.

I finally received the passport request today.

Timeline:
07 May, 2020 : Visitor visa - TRV (inside canada)
13 July, 2020 : Received Correspondence Letter for biometrics
13 August 2020 : Passport Request

Hi

Have you guys received your passport back with visa stamped? How much time does CIC take after passport request?

My timeline:
TRV inside Canada: 24 June 2020
Correspondence Letter: 3rd August 2020
Passport Request: 19th August 2020

I sent my passport on 11 august. It was delivered on 13 August morning. Today(19 August) I got update on cic that the passport has been stamped. Now waiting for the passport to receive.

Did they issue the visa till the end of your permit or not?

Unfortunately NO. They gave me 15 months of TRV instead of almost 3 years. They gave my friend 2 years of TRV instead of 3. I dont know by which criteria they give the TRV expiry date.

I have a question for the TRV. In the first question form of the account, I mean the question form that is filled out before uploading the files. Do you put the option OTHERS also as in Imm 5257, put others on both sides?
