I think this is a good sign. Though it is still hard to tell but it's a good sign that they are reviewing the file already. Let's hope for the best.

Because I don't understand why they had to ask for medicals for TRV; unless it's no ordinary TRV. Is there any PR or Citizen relative involved?

We applied the 6 months visa that requires medical, this was our alternative plan since our on-going spousal application has been delayed so much. I was just trying to see if those who applied before that got denied reached the medical stage before they received the refusal letter.

Edit: My husband applied February 2021, since he is an immediate family of a Canadian citizen he is exempted from travel restrictions. Are you applying for your spouse?

No update since we submitted a copy of our marriage certificate last June 16. We are currently waiting for the medical results and hopefully hear some news soon. When did you apply?
