Yes, I applied from inside Canada and my application was received by IRCC on Feb 18th. Had to travel to India due to a family emergency in April.

Same here, applied March 15th. Do you know people who applied in Feb/March and are inside Canada who got PPR?
So, I also need to visit India and I've applied trv on 4th March and no update yet, What if I visit India and if I get PPR then can I send passport to local VFS or to Ottawa from India?
Was it the normal web form or the webform for the travel exemptions please?
seems that you have to submit the passport to the country which you are physically present at. So if you are in India, you should submit the passport to local VFS in India.

From my experience, I would suggest you to get everything done in Canada and then travel to India only after getting the Visa stamped. In India there is no proper response for emails or calls and its taking a lot of time to get things done.
Thank you so much for the advise, I'm trying to get help here from MP office but they are of no help. my marriage has been delayed for 18 months now and it's kind of emergency. I'll double check with IRCC.
Hi, thank you, that's actually a great idea. But I'm afraid if this is possible as I need to have visa to travel to other countries. also the processing time for visa stamping
I applied on 20th March and still havent heard from them. I guess we will get it next month, since feb people are getting it in July
