I got engaged to a girl who is a Canadian citizen a month ago. my fiancee family is settled in Canada for more than a decade and all are Canadian citizens. Our marriage is scheduled in India during Sep month. After my marriage, She would be living with me in India. However, my future-in-laws wants us to visit Canada during Oct for around 40 days till Diwali as he wants to host a wedding reception in Canada and to spend time there.
He wants me to apply for TRV. I work here in in India in an MNC and have no plans to settle in canada atleast in short term. He( My father-in-law) is ready to send me the invite letter and asked me to apply TRV under visiting family or friends. Now i doubt what we can write in the invite letter content. Writing about wedding reception and time spent will make my case weak and IRCC will preassume i will not return back to India.
In India, I hold house , some deposits in my name. Also my parents live along with me in the same house and dependent on me. I can provide the leave of absence letter from my organization as I have 40 days leave balance. I can attach the salary slips , IT returns , bank statements too..
I doubt whether my TRV will be rejected if we give reason in invite as wedding reception and time spent ..
Suggest me what is the best way to get the TRV in this scenario.
one more point to add my fiancee do not work currently in canada and dependent on her father income.
