TRV approved after PR visa added

Need urgent help.
TRV approved after PR visa added to my passport. I thought my TRV application was dead, but I got request for passport, after I already have my PR IM-1 visa. Will adding a TRV affect my PR visa? Since I am traveling outside of my homecountry, can I add my TRV visa at any VFS office, or I can only get it in the country where my fingerprint was done?
Can a PR travel with a TRV visa?

Do not submit passport for the TRV, it serves no purpose. It just got processed and notification out of order. Just forget about it.

Your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) are not valid. There are three possible reasons why they are not valid: It has been more than 10 years from the date you provided your biometrics; You were temporarily exempted from providing one of the two pieces of biometrics (fingerprints or photo); or You provided your biometrics as part of an application for permanent residence that is now closed. If you apply for a visitor visa, visitor extension, restoration of status, work permit (including extensions), study permit (including extensions) or temporary resident permit, you must provide your biometrics (and pay the associated fee, if applicable) as part of your application. There are some exemptions.

Do not submit passport for the TRV, it serves no purpose. It just got processed and notification out of order. Just forget about it.

thanks expert. i also get a funny finger print letter saying my 10 year valid fingerprint expired, so i went to ircc to check my fingerprint.
it is in fact not an approval letter + passport request. it is a backlogged case, when pr is done, it triggered the speeding process of an old case. it basically said: your trv is approved, but it expired yesterday, as your fingerprint is no longer valid.

Had a similar experience as you did. You would think with a unified identification (UCI) they would add 2 and 2 but they don’t. My spousal was under process, I had applied for Trv in case it didn’t go through in time since I was can+ eligible.

spousal went through a few days after Trv submission and they kept processing my Trv. Told them multiple times I want to withdraw. No response. They then approved my Trv in about 2 months time and did a passport request,said my fingerprints were invalid, then sent me a letter saying application has been withdrawn but too late since we processed it so no refund.

LOL. go figure.
