I wonder if they have even assigned an officer to the file yet... Took them 2 weeks to "refuse" the file but taking them forever to approve it.

Hi Kira - did you get the approval? Could you also share how you got in touch with your MP? I applied on Feb 20 for TRV and am still waiting. My wife is considering contacting the MP for her jurisdiction. Any info you share about how you went about it will be helpful. Thanks!

your application is probably in security checks.

My visa was approved after almost 6 months of waiting. Your wife needs to find out who the local MP is for where she is staying. She can google search this and find out the contact details. She will need your name as on the passport, your file number and you have to fill a form saying to allow her to get your information.

Thanks a lot! She did get the information of the MP for her jurisdiction and email him. We did not attach the form though. Is it the IMM5475E?
