Guys quick question:
There is a question in application "Fund available for my stay (CAD)" for this can I show combine CAD from my wife and myself (I am working here in Canada). I am the one who is going to take care of all here expenses in her stay.

Please let me know what should goes in this field.
Thanks in advance.
You have to mention fund of your spouse... not yours...each person applying visitor visa has to fill individual form...and in each form fill details FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY individual saving+ Bank balance+ PF+ Policy.

Thanks for quick reply.
Can we show immovable (land property) also as a fund available or it should be just movable fund ?

You can show immovable property ...gold valuation...Bank balance...PF...any other savings...Add total and convert in CAD and put the figure in box FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY

This is not true.

The visa officer/CBSA does not expect someone to sell/dispose their property or gold or Provident Fund to fund a visit to Canada. These financial investments can be part of the overall financial situation.... but cannot be shown as 'Funds available for the visit'

Hope to hear for my TRV this week.
Hi Nimma78 ,

my parents are also govt employees. and they got international holiday aprroved by their department for 1 month. did you get the visa before you the time frame of the holidays?

do they consider the holidays approved by the govt and initate the request faster?

I have taken NOC from my office from 15.8.17 n got my visa on 10.8.17. so not really sure abt ur query. It just tells the visa officer that u have followed the procedure.

Hi . thanks for the info. my point was that do they consider the NOC / holiday. they got their noc from 26th of this month to 26th of next month. and if the visa doesnt come for lets say 15th of september then they need to again apply for the NOC.

The funds for TRV should be readily available like in savings account in India.

No need to apply for NOC if u get the visa, but if the visa got refused n u want to reapply then u need to take NOC again. One more thing after visa approval whenever u want to visit canada, u need to take ex india leave.
