Here is timeline for my mother in law. Visa office Rome Italy passport Indian

Apllication online submission 24 July 2017.
Passport request 31 July
Passport Submitted 14 August
Passport processed and they email us that they have sent our passports on August 17

Boss received a work conformation call on 1st Aug.

(2) follow the sign up step...at the end you get one option Link application to account
(3) select option temporary residence visa...and link with Family name and Date of Birth(if you don't have application number and UCI)
(4) enter the exact details which you enter in your Visitor Visa form.

Applied by paper on July 6th at VFS Chennai. Received email about having received application immediately.

Received email about my application being forwarded to the Canada Visa Office in Bangalore on July 7th. No more emails since then.

My tracking says it's still being processed.

Very anxious.

You can link your application directly with CIC websie CGkey accounts, this might help you see details of your processing application.
