I ve applied paper based Visitors Visa for my mother from India(Delhi).

Application submitted online: August 17
passport submitted alongwith application
VFS Delhi
Showing under process till now...

applied 20 aug, no reply. Waiting for visitor visa. I had supervisa applied too but she had to do extra medical exams so we left the file pending and reapplied for visitor visa. Not sure anyone had any experience in this kind of case.

Applied on 21st August, status updated to Approved today. Does this mean that I got the visa ? And any idea, how long it takes for my passport to get to VFS Chennai from Bangalore ?

You'll get your passport tomorrow. You can collect it in person from VFS Chennai tomorrow after 4pm (if you did not opt for it to be couriered to your residence).

You can send a Case Specific Enquiry to request an expedited decision.

You should have applied under the CAN+ program as you have a valid US B1/B2 visa

Any update ?

No update..still showing under proces..had a word with cc..they are saying its with embassy..I can write a mail to embassy or a letter to expedite..not sure why its taking so long? Not Sure...If i write to embassy will it affect processing

Our visa form in india did not have any section for choosing CAN+. How do I request expedited processing please ? Can you let me know
