There are no jobs here. Search on Canadian job sites. You need a job offer and your employer needs to file for and pay $1k for a LMIA. The LMIA shows that no Canadian or PR could be hired, only you. Then with LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit. For the permit, you show that you are experienced to do the job.
You also need trucking license to drive in Canada.

Would look at express entry program and programs that specific target truck drivers. There will be changes to programs in the New year to prioritize jobs that are In demand so I would make sure to look at express entry programs regularly Fid the next 6 months for any new announcements. Truck drivers are often jobs that are in demand in many provinces so would look at PNP and list under PNP for more information and help. With automation I would also have a longterm employment plan. Although there is a huge demand for truck drivers at the moment, and mostly long haul truck drivers that are often gone from home for 5-7 days, the demand may change significantly once automation comes in. Those who drive for a living need to be thinking about how they will react when the demand for drivers changes due to automation. There will still be opportunities just likely a lot less and the job will likely look different.
