Entirely possible. But the stumbling blocks are WES reference numbers and IELTS TRF. Duplicating them accurately enough will require some effort but the input fields for those are probably free text and so one could enter any random combination and it would be accepted.bloomy said:

The chances of real applicants will go slim.

When you create an account immediately they are issuing your point.

And also I believe that there will be many rejected ITA due to the misinformation statement
I'm sure that many EE profiles are fake. My friend issued a profile to check if he get a PT, by the way he got it 20th June. After that he withdrew his profile.
If the IELTS and WES numbers were checked immediately then it would be impossible.
So at the moment anybody can create a hundred EE profiles just for fun and lots of real applicants will not get their ITAs.

Probably this will increase the backlogs, but only the real applicants will send the ITA required documents to the immigration offices. Fake ones will not provide the documents
I absolutely agree with you... I was warning on this potential issue way before first draw was made - simply because of consultants... in order to advice clients, consultants need to go through entire procedure and see all potential edge cases, so I am convinced that many of them have fake LMIA profiles just to get ITA and see post-ITA steps... and when you multiply 2-3 fake profiles with number of consultants, you get A LOT of fake profiles which are blocking people to get invited...Russian said:
Somebody mentioned that solution would be to validate ECA and language results before accepting to pool - it is difficult to make SW solution that would do it automatically only because of politics - many stakeholders involved, but CIC may do it manually by asking designated institution for feedback based on reference numbers reported by potential migrants. There are ways, it is just a question of desire to make things proper.
If they can't automatically check if IELTS and ECA are real, the only solution I can imagine is to start charging to join the pool.

A fee at profile-creation stage is what Australia does, and i heard it worked quite well. Although that would not be fair for genuine applicants who happens to have a low score and didn't get ITA before it expires. (Unlike, e.g., OOPNP who asks a fee because they hand process every files it receives, EE system is a bunch of software code)Caspper said:

They don't do it because they don't think it's a problem and just say "fake profiles gets 5 year ban" will stop people trolling it. Well, they are clearly missing the point here.

Maybe Canadian government will let this; maybe they would like to keep the cut off point as much as high
