Travelling to India on Canadian passport without surrendering Indian passport. My e-Visa is based on my Canadian passport

I'm currently in Montreal in active Travel to India. I haven't submitted my Indian Passport yet due to unforseen circumstances. I have not used the Indian passport since I have gained the Canadian Citizenship. I'm worried that since I have not done that, Indian immigration wouldn't allow me to enter India. Or advise me otherwise

If you using Canadian passport and e-visa, there is no way for Indian immigration to know you have an Indian passport. You can surrender it in India or once you back in Canada.

Does Canadian passport not state birth country?
