Travelling to Canada on study visa

Hello,

I got my study visa, and I am planning to travel to Canada by April end. I have a quick question regarding my travel.
My college is in Ontario and I am planning to land in BC, as my relatives are in BC, and then move to Ontario after few weeks/months. Can anyone tell me if we can do this in the present situation? Will the border service question me about why I am landing in BC and not Ontario.?

You should travel to Ontario only.
I came to Canada in November to Ontario but my college is in Surrey. My brother and my bhabhi lives in Ontario and my plan was to live in Ontario until year end, and then go to Surrey once the colleges opens. The immigration officer questioned me why I landed there and I told them my story, and showed them all the documents but the immigration officer was not satisfied. He said I have not mentioned and he cannot let me in Ontario because of the the covid restrictions. I had a book a flight to Vancouver. Luckily there was not hotel quarantine plan that time.

The immigration officer will ofcourse question you, and might even deny you entry in BC. This has happened to many students even before covid. Now especially with Covid, things are more strict.
You should only land in the province your college is, as it justifies your travel, especially in these times.

land in ON then maybe after some time if you want to visit you can travel to BC internal country flights
