Hi quick question that I can't find the answer to on CIC's website...
We have applied inland, rec'd AIP and now waiting for PR application to process. Hubby wants us to travel to his home country for the xmas holidays this year (provided PR is here by then) to visit his family. He asked me yesterday if he will be able to .. apparently one of his friends told him he is not allowed to travel until 6 months after receiving his PR card... Is this true? I have not read or heard anything like that and have not been able to find an answer... wondering if anyone here knows what the rules are for traveling.
