Travelled to US, forgot Canadian work permit in Canada.Will they let me back in?

Hey all,

This might've happened to someone already, hopefully with happy ending. I'm an Italian citizen who travelled to the US yesterday for a conference and just realized I forgot my valid Canadian open work permit at home in Vancouver. I have a scan on my computer I can print but will I have issues re-entering Canada? Just to be sure I just applied for and obtained an eTA given the recent changes and introduction of this travel authorization.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

You should be fine. That happened to me once. The border officer just checked in the system that I have valid WP and let me in.
