Traveling to US from Canada back

Hello - does anyone have any experience with traveling to US from Canada in the recent past and then back to Canada for work travel? My employer is considered an essential service. I have a Work Permit in Canada and a business visa for the US. I have an Indian passport. The US offices are opening up slowly and i need to make a business trip. I am planning to drive to the Boston Area and then come back to Greater Toronto.

Any insights in terms of the border not allowing such travel?

Is your job considered an essential service? If you did travel you and anyone you live with would be in strict quarantine for 14 days.

The service my employer provides is considered an essential service. But i don't drive a truck. Wondering if this will still be considered an essential service.

I do understand the strict quarantine and that is not an issue.

You need to be providing an essential service.
