I will try to tell you the story in a few words.
Monday Feb 12th the big day came, 2 years after we applied to sponsor my parents they finally became Permanent Resident.
We signed the COPR at the Etobikoke center and now we are waiting for Permanent Resident Card. (so far good news)
The problem is that we have booked a trip to Mexico with the whole family including my parents, the trip it is 4-11 March and we will not get the PR card in time.
Question - How can my parents re-enter in Canada???
Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) is not an option because the short time we will be in Mexico.(only one week)
What we heard and i will like to confirm with you is that we can entry Canada with COPR (already signed) coming by land (my parents are having US VISA) on a private vehicle.. Is this true?
Will this interfere in any way with the PRC that is already in process?
Please let us know if you have any idea.
We are really sad and looking for a solution.
