So between the day you submitted your application online till you got your passport back (with the new TRV glued on it), how many days was it, approximately?

(And did you have to send your original passport to Ottawa? Or...?)
About two weeks: Couple of days for approval, another ~10 days for the round trip of my passport. They had asked me to send it to a visa centre in Ottawa.

Times may differ, though. You can check the current times here:

Okay! Not bad at all ;)

Now she`s seeing this in one of the forms:

Since she`s working, technically she really has nobody to visit....do you think she should put a bunch of "N/A" in that section? Or should she mention the name of the company she works for...?

(Do you remember what you put in that section?)

Alright, so she finally submitted her TRV application online tonight.

She's very anxious to go to Indonesia very soon, due to the nature of her dad's sickness. She's actually contemplating to go to Indonesia within the next few days.

Then once Ottawa requests for her passport (which could be 2-3 weeks from today), she's thinking about sending it to them from Indonesia (along with a prepaid return envelope.)
Do you think that's an okay idea? Any potential complications?

(Btw, when you sent your passport to Ottawa, did you also have to include a prepaid return envelope?)

I'm sorry to hear about the condition of your friend's dad. I hope he gets well soon.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether they'd allow her to send the passport overseas. Please look into it very carefully. I'd actually suggest you guys to call CIC to get the first hand information.

Yes, they did request a return envelope as well. Relevant info in the link below:

As per the other answer in your duplicate post whilst your multi entry TRV is valid there is no max time you can spend outside with a PGWP, whilst that is still valid of course.

Reading your other posts if you are applying for an inland spouse sponsor ship which is not that clear the answer would be different in that only advised no more than 2-3 weeks whilst that is processing else could considered an abandoned application. Outland has no such implication.
